A QR code for your association, from poster to membership

An association prints a lot: posters, flyers, membership forms, a banner for the autumn open day. Most of the time it also relies on an online platform to collect fees and donations. A QR code connects the two. Scanolo doesn't collect any money. The code sends people to the platform you already use, and you can change that destination without reprinting. The Free plan is enough for most small associations.

A home page for your association

The “link list” type builds a mobile page with the association's name, a 300-character description, your logo and full-width buttons. For many associations, it's the only code they need, printed everywhere.

Payment happens entirely on the platform you've chosen. Scanolo never sees an amount or a card number and takes no commission. If you switch platforms one day, you edit the buttons, and the posters already up stay valid.

  • Join: the membership form on your online payment or donation platform.
  • Donate: the donation page on that same platform, or a PayPal link.
  • What's on: the next outing, the next concert, the season's calendar.
  • Contact us: an email address, your website, your social accounts.

Posters that work from one event to the next

Plenty of associations redo the same posters every year, or keep permanent ones up at the clubhouse, the town hall or partner shops. With a dynamic code, the poster stays and the destination changes: tickets for the June concert, then autumn sign-ups, then the October jumble sale.

The “event” type adds the date, place and time to the phone's calendar in one scan, with a file that iPhone, Android, Google Calendar and Outlook all recognise. And if you put a different code on each poster location, the scan counter shows you which posters are actually being read.

Setup: sizes and supports

On an A3 poster in a hallway or a shop window, allow at least 10 cm per side, at eye level. On an A5 flyer, 4 cm is enough. On a stand banner read from 3 or 4 metres, aim for 30 to 40 cm, following the simple rule of reading distance divided by ten.

  • A line saying what's behind the code: “Join in two minutes”, “Book your place”.
  • Dark modules on a light background, never placed over a photo.
  • A test with two phones before sending anything to print.
  • The payment flow tested all the way through on a phone, not just on a computer.

Free, and when to move to Starter

The Free plan gives you three dynamic codes with no time limit: the association's page, the poster for the current event and a spare. Pages then carry the “Made with Scanolo” mention, and scan history covers 30 days.

A very active association, with several sports sections or several events running at once, will move to Starter: 25 codes, folders per section, no mention, for €7 excl. VAT a month with no commitment. And if the subscription ever stops, say when a new committee takes over, the printed codes keep redirecting.

Frequently asked questions

Does Scanolo collect donations or membership fees?

No. The code sends people to your payment platform or to your bank's page, and the money never passes through us.

Can I use a PayPal link or a link to my donation platform?

Yes. Any web link starting with https works, including a form on your own website. Every link is checked against dangerous sites when it's created and regularly after that.

Can several volunteers manage the codes?

On the Free and Starter plans, one account manages the workspace. The Pro plan allows three members, the Business plan ten.

Are the people who scan being tracked?

No. We count scans with country, device type and time, without cookies and without storing the IP address in clear.
