Terms of service and sale
Last updated: September 6, 2026
Purpose
Scanolo is an online service for creating and managing QR codes, both static and dynamic, with destination pages and stats. By creating an account, you accept these terms.
Account
You're responsible for keeping your credentials confidential and for the content you attach to your codes. An account is personal; a workspace can be shared with invited members depending on the plan.
Plans and pricing
The free plan has no time limit. Paid plans are billed in euros excluding tax, monthly with no commitment or annually, through Stripe. Applicable VAT is added based on your country. You can change plans or cancel at any time from your account; the plan stays active until the end of the period already paid for. No refund is due for the current period, except where required by law.
What happens to codes
A dynamic code keeps redirecting to its last destination regardless of plan, including after cancellation. When the number of dynamic codes exceeds the plan's quota, the most recent codes beyond the quota become read-only (redirection maintained, editing suspended) until you return to a plan with enough capacity.
A redirect is only interrupted if you pause the code, if you delete it, or if our security check blocks it.
Service continuity
If the business were to close, the publisher commits to notifying users by email with 12 months' notice, to keeping redirects running during that period, and to providing a full export of codes and destinations.
Prohibited uses
It's forbidden to use Scanolo to direct people toward illegal, deceptive, phishing or malware content, or content that infringes on the rights of others. The publisher may block a code, suspend an account and report this kind of use to the authorities, with no refund.
Availability
The service is provided on a best-effort basis. The publisher runs monitoring and daily backups but doesn't guarantee uninterrupted availability. Its liability is limited to the amount paid over the past twelve months.
Data
Data processing is described in the privacy policy. You guarantee that you hold the necessary rights over the content (logos, documents) you upload.
Governing law
These terms are governed by French law. Any dispute falls under the competent courts of the publisher's jurisdiction, subject to protective provisions applicable to consumers.
