    Will this QR code expire?

    No. A static code holds its content directly. It doesn't need Scanolo to work, so it can't be deactivated, not by us or by anyone else.

    Why is it free?

    Generating a static code costs us nothing, and we'd rather have you discover Scanolo through a service we actually delivered. If you ever need to edit a printed code or measure scans, the free plan offers three dynamic codes.

    What print size should I choose?

    Count at least 2 cm per side for a scan at 20 cm (business card), 4 cm for a flyer, 10 cm or more for a poster read from two meters away. Keep a white margin around it and clean contrast.

    PNG or SVG?

    SVG is vector-based: it scales up with no loss, it's the format to give a printer. PNG suits office documents, websites and social media.

    Can I add my logo?

    Yes, in the app, with a free account. The logo is placed in the center and the error correction level is raised automatically so the code stays readable.

    Is the data I enter kept?

    No. The free generator renders the image on the fly and stores nothing: not the content, not the image, not your IP address.
